Spring 2017 Group Fitness Schedule

Until May 8th, the following classes will continue to run weekly:

     Monday: Staff & Faculty Yoga with Myriam | 12.05-12.55pm (no class April 26th)

     Wednesday: Joga with Vanessa | 12.05-12.55pm

The spring group fitness schedule will begin with two full weeks of FREE classes, May 8-19

 S17 group fit schedule

All classes are from 12:05pm - 12:55pm at the Hangar Fitness Centre

The above class schedule is confirmed until June 27th. If classes are well attended, they will continue through July & August. The July/August schedule will be confirmed in mid-June.

Please note, there will be no classes on the following dates:

Monday, May 22 (Victoria Day)

June 8 & 9 (UBC Convocation)

June 29 & 30 (floor refinishing in gymnasium and studio 1)

Please note that the fitness schedule is subject to change, based on participation. If a class has 3 or less participants for 3 weeks in a row, it will be cancelled for the remainder of the semester. The best way to keep your favorite class on the schedule is to attend it regularly - and bring a friend or two. Thank you for your understanding.

UBCycles is a bike loan program for students, staff, and faculty at UBC’s Okanagan campus.

Massage

Free massages to our campus community offered at times by the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy.

Therapy and sports medicine clinic

Access to a Certified Athletics Therapist and Sports Medicine physician are available to the campus community twice a week during designated clinic times.

Health & Wellness

A range of services are available to students – appointments with a doctor or nurse, personal counseling, healthy lifestyles programs, student research opportunities, and resources. Student health services at UBC’s Okanagan campus are provided by Health & Wellness.
